Hardware Recommendation - Hardwire GSM

Thus far we have researched Enfora GSM vehicle tracking unit who provide support in the United States. The device can be connected to a PC and configured prior to deployment.

If there is a product worth considering that is a better option?

We are using it for a small business fleet of truck, commercial deployment is not likey but it's possible we may at some point offer it to other local businesses.

www.landairsea.com has a CDMA unit that works pretty well.

We are building our own GPS-GSM GPRS unit, what is needed to make it compatible with GPSGATE, is there a interface spec?

Yes there is. You should make a "GpsGate TrackerOne" integration.
