To monitor data communication between tracker and server you can use the "Terminal". More info here:

If you can see data coming in from the GPS tracker in the Terminal, but you still don't get a position on the map, you can send the output from the Terminal to us together with information about your GPS tracker and we will take a look at it. Send it to "support at gpsgate . com"

Use Template Commands to manage your trackers remotely:

Template Commands

The command is composed by many comma separated parameters, for example "SIN=126,MIN=5,VirtualCarrier=5,Beam=1".

- SIN and MIN: mandatory fields and values are dependent by the command type, which can be found in the SkyWave User Guide document, for example SetProperties command has SIN=126 and MIN=5.

- VirtualCarrier=5,Beam=1: additional parameters of which values needs to be changed/set.

More info on Template Commands:

Custom URL

GpsGate will make a GET request like this:

If the report in the terminal starts with "[mobileid]/skywave/sky" the report was received over IDP satellite gateway.
If the report starts with "[mobileid]/skywave/http" the report was received over GPRS.
