We have made a PPC application that use bluetools to communicate with a bluetooth-enabled input device. Our application saves the address of the input device with which it "belongs". If no address has been saved, it searches for all compatible input devices in the area.
With bluetools version 1.10 (not the previous version) we are experiencing a problem. When the application tries to search for new devices we get an exception with the message "BlueTools.dll not installed. Please visit franson.com/bluetools for more info". The strange thing is that this exception occurs on the line Franson.BlueTools.License license = new Franson.BlueTools.License(); At this point there is no difference between searching and connecting directly. The only difference I have been able to identify is that initialization (where this line is the first) is run much later in the process when it wants to search. This is because the searching isn't done until the entire application is started up, whereas the direct connection is done right in the beginning of startup.
Can this somehow be the cause of the problem?
Thanks in advance,
