Hi all,
can someone tell me what the messeage "[21] Error setting DTR" means?
I get it if I try to connect on an virtual port on a Windows Mobile 5 device. I use the built-in portsplitter of WM 5. (no additional software)
Sounds like a bug in GpsTools. Or a bug in WM2005 depending on how you see it I guess Redmond is right by definition, so will try to include a fix in the next service update of GpsTools.
Hi Johan,
I got an information for you:
The error I described above does only occur if I connect to the virtual port from Windows Mobile 5 (new built in port splitter from Microsoft). If I connect directly to the hardware port then all works well.
By the way: What does the Messsage: "[10007] Could not set DCB"
I am fining the same problem and really need a fix or work around. I have another detail. If I use another program (several tested) to connect to the WM5 virtual port before connecting with the GPSTools I do not get an error and can connect just fine.
More info. If we set the com port and buad rate to 0 then let the parser find the GPS port on a WM5 device it finds the hardware port for the GPS not the WM5 virtual port. The code looks like this;
