Implement a tracker for sending coordinates to GpsGate Server

Mon Dec 16, 2019 3:42 pm

Hi everyone,
I have to implement a java module (we will call it "tracker" into for this topic) that will communicate with GpsGate Server. The tracker will take coordinates and other info from an input source and it will send this data to a GpsGate server.

My problem is that I've some difficult to understand how GpsGate expects to receive the data and which protocol I have to use. I would prefer Http REST but TCP/IP or another one would be fine too.
I found here https://forum.gpsgate.com/viewtopic.php?t=20077 a sample TrackerOne implementation but it needs to be implemented (there are interfaces and some base class), I haven't got enough information to do it and documentation doesn't exist.

Is there an example of implementation? Alternatively, can you give me some usefull info to start working on it?

Thank you very much
