add extra info to Trip Report

Wed Oct 29, 2014 11:51 pm

Hello,

I'm busy with our GpsGate install and I'm using it to manage vehicles and generate trip reports. But the big issue is. I want the odometer in the trip reports. every trip in that report must start and end with a odometer distance(not correct English I think) We are using TR06 Concox tracking devices and it doesn't have build in odometer but we use our user defined odometer (accumulator) which is very accurate. Can someone help me with adding this to my trip reports? Has it something to do with the data provider or just the trip logs? Because the odometer itself is being saved.
hope to hear soon,
Thanks in advance,

Roy

I managed to get the _Odometer in the trip log but now another question. It's a long notation, very long. it's supposed to be like this: 138834,93. but now it's shown like this: 138834935.612731.
Do I need to reprocess or is there something else i need to add?
Thanks in advance,

The odometer value is in meters.
If you want to convert it to e.g kilometers, you can use $math functions

I don't know which version of reporting you are using but if it is the latest the value of the cell after inserting odometer should look like this:
$AccumulatorValue([Odometer], [UserID], [SamplingStart])

So to get it to km we want to divide it by 1000 and round it to two decimals:

$math.round($AccumulatorValue([Odometer], [UserID], [SamplingStart]) / 1000, 2)
