iTrackIT-Lite is an entry level asset iPhone tracking application allowing you to keep constant track of where your device(s) are. Utilizing the most battery efficient way of tracking, iTrackIT-Lite will provide updates of personnel movements on a significant changes basis..

This application requires you to have access to or your own GPSGate server which can be obtained from the Franson Technologies website.

•Ideal for tracking where your staff are and to see if they have arrived at the next sales opportunity / appointment
•Uses minimal battery power as it utilizes the Significant Changes feature within iOS6 and iOS7 to ensure that it uses almost no battery life, whilst running silently in the background
•Sends your current GPS Co-ordinates to GPSGate whenever you move significantly (normally every mile or so) – And also when a notice in location not changing (IE you have reached your destinations)
•Very simple user interface – Default values are set in the background so you can just set the bare minimum, and then set it and forget it!
•Shows the last uploaded coordinates along with the reverse Geocode of that address for reference

The app is now on the App Store and is priced @ a reasonable £1.99.

A free app update is being published tonight that fixes a couple of minor bugs, and a further free update will be coming in a week that gives you a map view of your whereabouts that can be enabled / disabled via an email link.

I have 20 free redemption codes to give away, so the first 20 people to contact me via email will receive a code to redeem app for free. I would appreciate any feedback directly to myself via email, and any future feature requests will be listened to. Simply email me with what you use GPSGate for, and if you have a use for this app on one or multiple devices.

A pro version is currently in progress that allows much more user customisable settings and user interval tracking settings.

To use, simply setup a new user on your GPSGate server using the GPSGate TrackerOne device mapper. Then use the same unique ID (or IMEI) in the app, and tracking shall commence.

Email: support@itrackit.co.uk for any problems, and to claim your free redemption code (f you are one of the lucky 20).

It seems that the iPhone app uses local time and not UTC as time zone. Please verify and correct if that is the case.
