generating maplibs from jpg's

Thu Oct 02, 2008 7:05 pm

I already have 48 of jpg and jgw files that I need to insert into a maplib. I could not find any documentation if it is possible to use the jgw files for georeferencing the jpg files inside of a maplib.
Must I calibrate all of the jpg files again?

The names of the files are:
r2124.jpg and for the worldfile r2124.jgw

The worldfiles looks like this:

4.240242616760
0.000000000000
0.000000000000
-4.243699424739
3543728.225412912200
5985743.700771191200

Hi,
jgw files aren't officially supported yet, but as they're exactly the same format as tfw (Tiff world files), which are supported, you can obtain what you want with a small "hack":
- Rename your *.jpg images to *.tif and the corresponding *.jgw files to *.tfw

Sorry for the inconvenience, we'll try to include jgw support in a future upgrade.

Regards,
Fredrik
