How do I use Google Earth as my GPS?

Thu Oct 02, 2008 4:24 am

I'm still looking for a way to use some gps hardware (whatever gps will work, I'll buy it) with Google Earth. I use a Verizon air card, an antenna and an amplifier in my RV so I can have 24/7 internet access using my laptop. At present I'm using DeLorme, but would much prefer to be able to track live using the Google Earth screen. If you can help me accomplish this, I will need very clear cut and simple, step by step instructions what to do. If you can't help, then please remove me from your mailing list. I HOPE you can help! Thank you. David.

This feature is not available with the free version of Google Earth. Only with one of the paid versions.
