Adding jpeg images to maplibs

Wed May 28, 2008 2:15 am

The following lines of code (or very close):

Dim mapData As MapLibNET.zMapData
mapData = mapLib.NewMapData("c:\tile.jpg", "TileA")

Provoque the following error message:

[10005] Matching image decoder not found!

Does this mean that it is not possible to add jpeg images in maplibs through the "Maplib" object, or that there is something missing in the code (or elsewhere) to make this work?

Thank you for your answer

Cheers

You need to use GpsTools Studio to import a JPEG to a MapLib. The library only supports BMP and GIF. Studio supports BMP, GIF, JPEG and GeoTIFF

Thank you for the quick answer.

Are there any plans to enable the library to import jpeg and GeoTIFF?

(maybe an add-on, some of us might even be ready to pay for it)

Cheers

There is currently no plan to do this.
