Problem installing on Windows 7 64-bit

Wed Apr 28, 2010 4:48 am

We are attempting to install our application on a Windows 7 64-bit machine and getting the familiar failure: Could not load file or assembly 'GPSToolsNet.200' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. We followed the suggestions in #5995 to no avail, although we downloaded the x64 and not the x86 version.

Any suggestions?

Thanks...Steve

Johan,

Your response was perplexing since we have this installed on several 64-bit servers!

We resolved the problem by setting the Application Pool, Advanced Settings, Enable 32-bit Applications set True.

It then worked fine!
