BUG in GDA94

Thu Feb 25, 2010 2:09 am

Hi there, I just downloaded the free trial version and found a serious bug in the grid of South Australia Lambert (GDA94).

When I entered the coordinate of Easting, it could not locate the right position on the maps below. The point it located was more than 1900000 metres away. Therefore, the conversion (for example WGS84) was wrong as well.

The bug can been shown by another way. Just click a point in Austraila on the map. It gives you the coordinates of the point. Just delete the two decimal of Easting (that means less than 1 metre) and press enter. The new point should be within 1 metre away from the original point, however the new point flies more than 1900000 metres away.
