Sending commands to the Queclink GV300

Sat Apr 07, 2018 6:56 pm

Dear Sirs,

I am able to send commands to the GV300 terminal via SMS (eg. change a digital output state). My goal is to send this type of command via UDP. I have a SIM card with a static IP and properly configured VPN tunel. The device is reporting data correctly to the backend server.

The question is how to implement this type of messaging on the backend server and how the message itself should look like (is the message format the same as for the SMS command?). For now I made a simple implementation using nodeJS Dgram librarty https://nodejs.org/api/dgram.html

Also, do I need to configure the GV300 terminal somehow to allow receiving commands via UDP (GPRS)?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Pawel

just copy the message from the manager tool and send thru UDP or TCP

Return to “GPS trackers, AVL hardware, SIM subscriptions etc.”
