CradlePoint IBR600

Has anyone successfully configured GPSGate to work properly with this device. This Cradlepoint is a Sierra Wireless in a Cradlepoint box.

My server is working correctly and receiving data from Sierra Wireless PinPoint devices. I have tried to set up the Cradlepoint as a PinPoint device, MP device, Generic device with no luck.

GPSGate sees the incoming data and the data shows up in the unknown connections report. Below is the data being recevied:

[2/28/2013 4:08:44 PM] (70.xxx.xxx.xxx:10274/PinPoint/udp) Client: $GPGGA,220845.0,3028.515880,N,09028.722996,W,1,09,0.8,25.5,M,-25.0,M,,*54[0x0D][0x0A]$PCPTI,IBR600,220845,220845.0,54*2E[0x0D][0x0A]

[2/28/2013 4:08:44 PM] (70.196.130.6:10274/PinPoint/udp) Connect

Any ideas?

Thx

Is anything of this data coming in the ID or the device. For example "220845", is that the ID of the device?

The ID would be different for each unit, and would make it possible for GpsGate to tell the different connected devices apart.

Or is there any other data you see under Unknown connection which could be the ID ?

Johan

Thanks for your reply!

ID= IBR600
*ID is unique to my installation.

It is in the data stream just after $PCPTI,

Connections report shows an ID#, however, Username, IMEI Phone# fields are blank. Protocol = PinPoint.

Any ideas?

Johan

Can you let me know if GpsGate will support the CradlePoint IBR600 series device?

I need to move on to another device if not.

Can you confirm support for the Sierra Wireless GX440?

Thx

Hi, sorry to kick up an old thread, but by chance do you still have that plugin? I'm looking to get the IBR 600 setup on GPSGate as well. Thanks!
