How to setup GpsGate Send in Mobile Cellular Router

Wed Jul 31, 2019 6:34 pm

I have just installed a Pepwave BR-1 Mobile Cellular Router in a Police Mobile Command Center Vehicle, and would like to be able to use the built-in GPS antenna to have the vehicle appear on our GpsGate Server, but after entering the settings that I thought would be correct, it is not appearing as a new device. Could someone take a look at these settings and see if you think this router will act a as Gps sending device? I've only ever used the GpsGate Splitter to send AVL data.

(Note: The Server IP Address/Host Name is the same one I use on GpsGate Splitters to send AVL data.)

Thanks,
Rich

Hello,

I've tested the TAIP device type (plugin Trimble). I have tracking of a MAX-BR1. Use the option TAIP / PV in GPS Forwarding

Hello,

I've just tested using TAIP protocol (Trimble plugin) setting TAIP / option PV.
this works.
