I am working on a project that involves custom serial hardware connected to a CE device. We have encountered a device that will cause the handheld to read ASCII values above 127 after a period of time. We suspect this is a hardware issue with our device, but I would like to know how the Port object handles serial errors.
In particular, what will happen with the OnRead if any of these errors occur:
* Read buffer overflow
* Parity error
* Framing error
Does the event get fired, or is the data simply tossed?
