Rover9 and 2 kinds of messages

Mon Jul 14, 2008 3:59 pm

Hi,

Rover9 sends out 2 kind of location messages:
1. Standard one when GPRS connection is available. It lools like that:
05*850,000,L001,A,2459.3640,N,12125.2958,E,000.0,224.8,00.8,07:47:26 09-09-05,9.00,D3,0,C4,1
2. Short one - when GPRS is not available it buffers location data and sends them out once it's available again. Up to 5 locations per message are available"

Example:
7g<3930896517650939100022147263.5O13930330017653028400001197263.5J23929766517652449002300197263.52q3930722317651612402871111263.4p3929714917653817102382136263.

My question is if both types are supported by Server 1.3 or 2.0?

Regards,
Piotr

Yes, both are supported both in 1.3 and 2.0.

But from the second "history" message, only the first position will be taken. We plan to fix this before the final 2.0 release.

Johan
