http://franson.com/gpsgateserver/support.asp

Features
-> SMS for supported devices with positions and messages (see below).
-> The VehicleTracker GUI now supports “Manage Device Mapper” allowing you to configure your own messages from a device working against your installation of GpsGate Server.
-> You can setup an Alarm with the parameters of your choice, such as SOS/PanicButton, SpeedLimit and MotionAlertAlarm.

VehicleTracker GUI Improvements
-> Markers are visualized as arrows to show their current direction in addition to the name.
-> Tracks can show their direction when drawn on the map.
-> You can see the incoming alarms and messages and act on them
-> A zoom-all-vehicles button to quickly locate your vehicles (the map now also initially starts in the zoom-all state)
-> A drag-zoom/zoom-area function
-> The vehicles and tracks panel is collapsible to maximize the map-area.
-> Added a popup-clock in addition to the popup-calendar to simplify search specification.
-> A cross-hair when dragging the map to aid positioning and zooming.

New devices
The devices currently supporting the new functions are:
-> StarsNav PT33
-> StarsNav Rover v9
-> TeamSharp MT-100

Smaller Fixes
-> Fixed the bug where you couldn't assign Custom Maps to several applications without an error-message.
-> Now possible to block a user from logging in to your BuddyTracker-application using the Administrator Page in the BuddyTracker GUI.
-> The Installation Wizard now allows using the newest MySQL ODBC-drivers v5.1
-> Track Points are now sorted correctly for devices doing out-of-order uploads.
-> You can see who is logged in, and which application ID is currently used.
-> .. and of course a multitude of smaller fixes and tunings have been implemented.

Notes
-> Please observe that this is a Beta of GpsGate Server
-> The “Poll Position”-button in the VehicleTracker GUI is not implemented yet.
-> Click-on-track doesn't work in IE.

A big thank you to everyone who has suggested features and reported bugs!
- We hope for a productive cooperation during the Beta period.

Do you mean by device type. So all TR-102 get a specific default setting for example?

no i mean by device_id instead of owner_id.

the hangup is simple.

there is only 1 reason why a user would have more as 1 unit assigned.

1 person multible devices ... mean multible applications too.

as example

i have a unit in the car: uses 10 secounds time trigger
on the same account is a personal tracker assigned ...
is used if on foot ... but "on foot" the tracking settings are diffrent ..
because movement is diffrent too.

i use on foot distance trigger for 250 meters and no time trigger.
but in the car use time trigger (because the hardware does not support angle change and distance) ;-)

also on foot is no need to a fast updatetime ..as i can not move in one minute that far as with a car .. ;-)

GpsGate Server 2.0 does not support a shared hosting environment.
