auto Login

Mon Mar 17, 2008 4:54 am

in one of the previous Updates is mentioned a "login from another site" ..

is it possible to manage somehow a Auto-Login (http-get or http-post)?

reason: the gpsgate application is not the main-application
i programming a management arround with alot of other features like:

- remote config (sms and gprs)
- sms tracking
- customer management

so the system provides already a login where the gpsgate userid/username is stored as referal information in a helper table.

i dont want peoples have to log on on multible modules.

i do sync usernames, passwords, last position and tracks already,
but peoples have to log on again before using vehicletracker.

Hi!
GpsGate Server authenticates the user througth the session id stored in a cookie.
You should be able to use one of the methods described in the link below to set such a sessoin cookie.

Probably the first method will be best.
