Problem Upgrading to Build 232

Tue Sep 25, 2007 12:08 pm

I had GpsGate Srv 1.1 B. 148, in a Virtual Machine (VMWare) everything was working fine, I decided to upgrade to B 232 because of the problems with IE6.

I ran the installer in the Dedicated Server folder, but I'm facing a problem when I press the button install in http://localhost/GpsGateServer//SiteAdmin/Index.aspx

Nothing happens.

We need some trace logs.
Edit [installpath]/IIS/NLog.conf
From <logger name="*" minlevel="Info" writeTo="file"/> TO <logger name="*" minlevel="Trace" writeTo="file"/>

If you are running IIS 6 you have to restart the ApplicationPools or if you are running IIS 5 you have to kill the aspnet_wp.exe process to make the changes take effect.

Recreate you problem (press install) and check that the [installpath]/IIS/logfile.txt has trace logs.
Send it to support at
You need to split it up if it is bigger than 2Mb
