GPS/GPRS blackbox integration

Thu Aug 02, 2007 5:20 am

Hi everyone,
I am new here, and also new to the gps tracking, friend of mine asked me to take a look at some GPS/GPRS device and try to integrate it to gpsgateserver, I got some things ruuning. The problem looks like this:

device communicates with the server ( or at least seems to be communicating ), but I don't see server ( franson ) converting the data and displaying it on the map.

data string sent from the device looks like this:
<font color="green"></font id="green">$GPRMC,001700.000,A,4043.9677,N,07353.9141,W,0.56,179.21,020807,,*16
<font color="black"></font id="black">
has anyone had a similar problem and possibly could help me with the integration?
any help will be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a link to a description of the device?
