Reporting Problem

Hello,
After upgrading to the latest plugin for Reporting ( 4.0.0.4827 ) we have been experiencing problems viewing Reports. Whenever we process a report, it will hang indefinitely with the text Processing Report or it will say it is queued. When we go to SiteAdmin, Reporting>TaskViewer, we notice that the report has been Delivered(Processed) but we can't view the report. When we try to send the report via email, we never receive the report.

I have resolved the problem. Apparently, the ip address of our email server was blocked by our ISP and when this was resolved, the reports were able to be viewed and emailed out. Why would the email address affect the report generation when we are simply viewing the report and not sending it out via email?
