Drivers journal - category based on status signal?

Fri Nov 18, 2016 1:09 pm

Hi!

Does the Driver journal support automatic setting of trip category (Business, Private) based on signal from devices. Our customer needs to report private driving only and would like to install switches in the vehicles so Private driving can be reported.

Thank you!

Thank you.

I have mapped one input from the device (CAREU U1 Lite) to the DJCategoryBoolean signal.
Can anyone explain in more detail how to map the True/false values of DJCategoryBoolean to the driver journal categories.

What I am trying to achieve is to set all trips to Private when a signal of one input is true. Can it be done? How?

Thank you!

Hi, you can base the Driver Journal category on an input signal following these steps.

1. Login to "SiteAdmin" and select your Application in the list.
2. Open the "Privileges and Features / Plugins / Driver Journal" section and enable "_EditJournalCategoryMapping".
3. Save your settings

Login to Your VehicleTracker Application as an Administrator

4. Select the manue "Admin / Driver Journal"
5. Map your signals and Save your settings

This will apply for new data.

Hi Support,

I have mapped DJCustomBoolean to input of tracker.
Then assigned DJCustomboolean_True to 'Private' and DJCustomboolean_False to 'Business'

When testing with SimOne, I always get 'none' in the category, disregarding input true or false...

What i do see is that the 'private' category has 1 km (one update send from SimOne) But after that its always 'none' category..

Could you please advise on this matter ?

Kind regards,

Wintesla
