Vehicle is jumping around, GPS to sensitive

Thu Jan 07, 2016 10:56 pm

Hi,

when the vehicle with a Teltonika FM5300 is parked in the garage at my house, the tracker still receives gps signals. thats good, its really sensitive. but, over the reflections from the houses around, the tracker starts to jumping around the real location. this generates odometer values over the time, could be 1km per night.
any tips to prevent this?

thx!

Ciao
Martin

Does GpsGate create an "Idle Spot" / "Fat point" at the garage during the night?

If it does, GpsGate will not add the noise to the distance.

How is your odometer setup in GpsGate?

Johan
