The Speeding Expression plugin allows you to create Event Rules based on real speed limits from OSM (OpenStreetMap.org), while allowing you to provide fallback values when real speed limit is not available.

Hi Greg,

Can you create a report for the speeding expression pluging that shows Time/date/location of speeding event plus actual speed and road speed limit/road type

Hi,

you can easily achieve what you need by simply sending Report Arguments in the Notification type of your event rules and later executing the Event Rule report.

This is how you have to setup your Notification settings in your Event Rule

And this would be the result

If you need more info how to setup your Event Rule with Arguments:

Another guide that might be useful with a small variation of the Event Rule report:

Hi,

Can you define exactly what you mean my "false speeding violations"?

When you create a report, include all the SpeedingExpression variable as report arguments ([SPEEDING_SPEED_LIMIT], [SPEEDING_ROAD_CATEGORY], [SPEEDING_IS_SPEED_FALLBACK]), are events created when the actual speed is below the real speed limit? Is the real speed limit used or a fallback?

Greg
