Hi Greg,

I appreciate this great new feature, because I also requested this feature since Nov-2012: topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=15190

Is it possible to select a group of vehicles Ex. 10 vehicles to popout on map of second monitor?

Thanks
Best regards

Using the Multi-Monitor plugin you can open a second web browser window with up to 9 different maps. Those maps can show specific vehicles or static maps.

If you save your workspace while the second window is open, the window and it content will reopen on next load of this workspace.

Greg

Hello,

Well done to this wonderful feature.

I test and it works good on static and selected vehicle follow thru.

May I know, any implication to Google map API quota if we allow this feature open to all customers applications?

Hi, that depends on your Google Maps agreement.

If you have "Google Maps from GpsGate" there is no change as it is licensed per tracked asset (and not per map view). Read more at the link below:

@limyo

Currently you can track a specific vehicle or show a static map (with all the vehicles within the map bounds and the selected view).

We will consider your suggestion in future development.

I have been testing this feature.
It support only Google map, I suggest this feature should support other map such as OpenStreetMap, Bing map, GeoServer + Shapfile map....

Thanks
Best regards

Dear Support,

I am testing the plug-in and I would like to report that custom vehicles icons do not working.

I wonder if you could consider to disable url display in the maps windows please.

Kind Regards
Kris

@kriskri

Thank you for reporting! Custom vehicle icons will be fixed in the next release on the plugin.

We cannot disable the URL displayed in the map windows due to security reasons in web browsers.

I'm also testing the Multimonitor. excellent tool

Also realized that does not work with another icon

I agree with @kriskri in question not to show the URL, or at least rename the folders removing the words Script Plugins and GpsGate. Please study this possibility

Hi Greg,
For some reason, every time I login or change workspace a msg pops saying "Popup blocked. Click Yes to try again. Consider disabling your popup blocker." with yes/no buttons. Any idea?

@CRVaz, there is a way to install your own plugins by creating your folder in "C:\GpsGateServer\IIS\Resources\ScriptPlugins\[your folder]" and paste inside the Multimonitor folder from the com.GpsGate folder. Then change all the instances of con.GpsGate to [your Folder] in the various JavaScript files. But I agree that best will be if GGS can add this feature as a parameter...

Alon: The pop-up is something the browser places there. It is a general security feature in the browser.

Well, it seems to be GGS msg that pops if I save the workspace with the multimonitor open. Then even if I save again without the second window, the msg keep showing when loading the workspace.
Here is a link to the popup print screen: https://www.dropbox.com/s/32gk7wj1xr5zw ... 7.jpg?dl=0
