NEW FEATURE: Dock Windows to Panels and back.

You can now convert Panels to Windows and Windows to Panels.

Install

Make sure Patch.v4 is "green" under SiteAdmin -> Plugins

How it works

To convert a Panel to a Window right click on the Panel's name e.g. "Tracks" and select "Window". The Panel is now converted to a Window.

To convert a Window to a Panel right click on the Window's name e.g. "Terminal" and select "Panel". The Window is now converted to a Panel.

To make the change permanent, save the Workspace.

Hello Johan,

This feature is very good.
But I see some panel not work such as: Dispatch, Point Of Interest.

I suggest "Map" panel can change to Windows on separate tab or separate window of browser, because some large application need view 2 monitor. 1 monitor view detail information and another monitor view map only.

Thanks
Best Regards

Not all panels and plugins are yet upgraded for this feature. POI & Dispatch are in the works though.
Dual maps/windows is a good feature we're also considering (though technically not part of this project).

As per Yo Lim's request, Having the MAP on a seperate window/browser tab would be handy, especially for dual monitor support.

In saying that, http://gpsgate.com/blogComment/customiz ... ker_layout MAP Only view example, it seems with maximised browser window, on a high resolution (ie, 1080p) monitor resolution, the right column cannot be set all the way to the right edge like the left one can. It seems to maintain a small empty column for some reason

Danieln: Thanks for your feedback. Please double click on the thin bar that separates the columns to expand/collapse them. In this way you can collapse the right column all the way to the edge.
