RE: GUIDE: Camera plugin

Hi piter197,

The camera for ATrack AT5 is now supported.
To test the feature, please install Camera plugin if you have not installed yet, and update your ATrack plugin as well.

Hi...

I have a xexun xt008 with camera, is there a way to use this plugin to get the photos?, in terminal I see the data coming, after a "vr" command...

Or is there another solution to get pictures from the camera in that tracker?

Thanks

Hi Nanda,

I do not see a way in the ATrack camera protocol to specify which camera you want to use, so it seems it only supports one at the moment.
You can contact with ATrack support to get an official answer.

Hi all. Is it possible to use a camera with the Atrack AK7 and if so, is there any info on attaching one? Also does anyone have a copy of the AK7 protocal as in all the commands

Hi. Will you include the Teltonika MVC300 in future releases? This camera is used in conjunction with the FM5500, FM1100, FM1110 and FM1120.
Thanks.

Hello, we are using the AT5 from Atrack and have tested the camera as supplied by Atrack. We manage to connect both and get them to work, but what happens is that pictures arrive 3 to 5 days later in GPSgate however with the correct date.

Why is there such a long time between the moment pictures are taken and the moment they appear in the gpsgate interface?

Hi PCAP,

For the pictures we use the timestamp that the ATrack device provides. According to their protocol specification it is the time of picture taken.
Usually it takes a few minutes to upload the picture. If the device disconnects during the process, it will retry to upload the picture when it connects next time.

Hello Gabor,

thank you for clarifying this. Indeed, the time of picture taken appears in GPSgate correctly.
But the time for the picture to appear in the gpsgate interface is not minutes but 3 to 5 days.
I would like to find out what is causing this and how we can speed things up to go from days to minutes as you say.

Regards,
Pedro

We have checked this but there is no actually clear reason why there is such a delay.
I hope this screenshot provides some insights:

I got error 403 (Your client does not have permission to get URL ...) when I tried to check the screenshot. You can also send it to support @ gpsgate.com email.
