Floating windows

Wed Sep 26, 2012 8:38 am

Hey guys

Just a thought and feedback from my customers. The display currently has windows restricted to being side by side or above or below each other. Would it be possible to have the map as the full screen with all other windows floating above that can be moved around and re-sized as necessary. http://snitchinc.com/products-snitch.html is a good example and they are one of our major competitors.

Let me know what you think :)

We have ideas about making floating windows vs stacked panels more flexible to allow users to customize even more, and if desired essentially achieve the UI style you mention.
I will nor promise, nor give you a specific date for this though.

Hello Fredrik,

This is good ideas.
Beside I suggest it support multi-monitor. Ex. one monitor display vehicle information, track, poi, other information and another monitor display only map. Multi-monitor are use full for large fleet management.

Thanks
Best regards
