- Send 1 command to all or selected vehicles

This will save time when changing gps settings.

regards

GpsGate comment: This is now possible using the "Device Manager" plugin http://forum.gpsgate.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10220

- Stand by commands: Be able to send a TCP command to a device when is not connected, and when it logs in to the server the command will be executed. Very useful when using devices with power management.

Hi, I have the following suggestions: Some may be a repeat as may have been mentioned by other.
1. Tracks window to open in a separate window, currently, one has to minimize and scroll especially if there are a lot of trucks involved. if it opens in a separate window, there will be more space to have a wider view and less scrolling will be needed

2. In reports, have an option to run reports for a single vehicle or a range of vehicles.Having report for a whole fleet, when you just want a monthly report for one, means you have to scroll down to find the one vehicle's report one is interested in. This can be tedious if one has hundreds of vehicles

3. Vehicle list select/unselect all option.

4. Alarms closed by one user, should still be active in another user's view.
5. Mouse scroll over alarm to give info on the alarm. Currently, when you have a lot of alarms, clicking on one alarm is confusing.

6. Different colour to identify different alarms

7. Tracks replay in automatic mode, currently have to use mouse, and can be time consuming if you have to go through each track point manually

@Sahara
I took the liberty to reinterpret your pt1 as a separate question in a new thread: http://forum.gpsgate.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=13825
For specific questions please start new threads.

@GpsGate: I agree with Sahara. Can you please share the final feature-list that has been short-listed for implementation in the next release along with the tentative release dates ? This topic has been under discussion since long.

The next thing of importance that will be released is the new SmartPhone/Mobile interface. Most likely out before Christmas.

As a general statement I can say that we are doing a lot of work to simplify the most common tasks you do in GpsGate. You will see many releases making smaller and major improvements, and also new plugins doing the old things in a better way. Which means there will not be any mega release. We will not publish any exact dates.

For now we keep this thread for feedback regarding the subject "How can we simplify the use of GpsGate Server". We do read and consider everything posted here.

Johan

I agree, i have a costumer that refuses to use the platform because of this, he uses the original teltonika TAVL instead just because of this.Originally posted by juraj12

Maybe right-click on the tracker's pointer in map could show a context menu where user could access last 10 tracks to be displayed, last few alarms, last few jobs, etc.

Ability to change color of track polyline for different vehicles. Currently, all vehicles will draw polyline using the same color for the same day thus making it very difficult to differentiate visually between tracks of different vehicles.

Very usefull and very interesting according to some of our customers :

- Automatic job status updates (through Garmin™)

- Vehicle maintenance module (distance already driven by car must be entered manually, GGS automatically adds distance recorded by tracker.)Also the possibilityto change color of distancenumber to red when exceeding predefined value
This could be displayed in 'vehicle status' window for instance....

Thanks for considering,

Make it more compatible with IPAD(exaple becouse its what i use)
think that could be improved.

Icon (when you save the url as an app)

some windows closes and you cant reopen (unless we close the browser and reopen it)

make it easyer to show routs and navigate in the maps(some times you move the map and it centers somewhere else.

over layer, some option for full screen maps with the vehicles on transparent window.

If you wold like com fotos just ask,

and sorry my English.

For Fuel Level monitoring, the amount of fuel remaining is shown. However, the full tank capacity is not displayed/shown so it is difficult to gauge how much fuel has been used. It would be better to have an extra field to enter the full tank capacity so that a display like 50/80 would mean that 50 liters remains from an original full tank capacity of 80 Liters.
