Mon Feb 28, 2011 4:37 am

Hi, I using Ms Windows Server 2008 R2 to my PC. I download & install latest MYSQL server & ODBC connector from the MYSQL webpage. I already setting the MYSQL Server setting and the MYSQL service running.

The problem is, the GpsGateServer cannot detect the MYSQL Server. What I mistake for the setting?

Please help.

Hi,

The same thing happen to me, the wizard cannot detect MySQL (OS, MySQL and connector same version with your) but I keep continue.

When in Database setup (still in wizard after this) I just select MySQL Connector then fill in the root & root's password then select GpsGateServer database name then click test connection. And wizard continue till finish.

I had this problem too, and though the wizard finished "successfully", it does not appear to have configured the db connection for the site correctly.
