RE: Plugin: Clickatel SMS

Hi Johan,

thanks for the quick reply !

So there is no need for entering anything under service/providers anymore ...

So i would asume it had to work already because i followed every step above. Except i do not need MO number so i deleted the '&from' part from the url.

Entering the url wich checks clickatell parameters, gives me the wanted sms (http://api.clickatell.com/http/sendmsg? ... &text=test)

kind regards

Hi Johan,

I'm also having an issue setting up Clickatell but this is 7 years later and things have probably changed.

Comparing my clickatell account and the message from the system logs, I can see there's a change in one of the keys:

https://platform.clickatell.com/messages/http/send?apiKey=...==&to=...&text=This+is+a+test+SMS
https://platform.clickatell.com/messages/http/send?apiKey=...==&to=...&content=This+is+a+test+SMS

The first line is the output of the log and the second line is the example as given in the Clickatell test environment. The difference is that "&test=..." is used on GPSGate where "&content=..." is used in the example. GPSGate returns this error: System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request.

Can this text/content key be configured or is there a plugin update to fix this?

i think i am experiencing the same issue here as well.

from the logs am getting

2019-06-11 13:16:08.0339 | Error | 73 | ClickatelProvider.SendOutgoing | HTTP GET https://platform.clickatell.com/messages/http/send?apiKey===&user=xxxxx&password=xxxx&to=xxxx&text=test+sms HTTP Response | System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request.
at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse()

with parameter &text different from the one given in clickatell which is &content

Please help
