RE: What do you want to see in next version of GpsGate

It would be good to have the ability to construct "sites". Very similar to geofences but have the same function as reverse geo-coding

Cheers

Hi,

I would like to see a Import function. This would make it possible to analyse routes made by GPS loggers (only). it would be nice to import .CSV files or and .GPX files.

Thanks.

Here's a feature that would be very useful. I'd like to be able to insert toll gate locations, in a similar manner to the POI feature, but then include the toll prices for each toll gate in the database. The toll-cost of a trip can then be included in a distance report.

In fact, using the dispatch plug-in it might be possible to calculate the toll costs per job BEFORE the job is done.

Since different vehicle classes attract different tolls, a future option might be to include "toll class" in the vehicle setup page and then allocate costs per toll class at each toll gate location.

I want to see a better report with more fields and add or delete columns
I need the ability to create a report with the geofence tags that NOT go inside or NOT go outside on a specific period

I like to ask for feature on new coming GpsGate Server v.3

GpsGate Server:
-when displaying custom raster map, able to show floating map scale legend/picture of legend (like GpsGate icon in bottom left corner) and able to change the legend picture correspond to scale level in use.
-option to automatic delete history log, for example define to automatic delete old log more than three days.

SmsProxy:
-Minimized icon to show status of SmsProxy connection
-able to view left message in modem/phone
-able to delete left message in modem/phone
-option to automatic delete history log, for example define to automatic delete old log more than three days.

GpsToolStudio
-show virtual grid/tile with header of column and row number

NB: I'll post this to forum also.

More nice to have feature: not only draw track, but also can animate track.

It agree with Piter197. An animated track feature would be very useful. Sometimes we want to track a vehicles route for the day and if it has been on the same main road a few times it becomes difficult to follow the track on and off the road.
An animation would help dramatically.

I'd like to be able to export my geofences to other applications. Some clients want to setup geofences around a specific province. If I could draw out the geofences and then make them availavle to the client for import, it would save the clients' time.

If there is another way to do this, please advise.

If I show "streetview", it shows the location of the currently selected vehicle, regardless of what I do with the track list.

Is there a trick I'm missing to get Streetview to show the selected position in the tracklist?

Is it possibel to get a colored icon in the tray when using GPSGate as a Service. This would show that the GPS is working properly. Just like the bright icon in Franson GpsGate 2.6 Thank you

Hi,
Can you consider following things
1. Distance ruler – ability to calculate estimated time to
arrive selecting destinations, distance between two vehicles
or objects on the map
2. Add place mark on the map – ability to add custom places
3. Fuel consumption reports
4. Exporting route to jpg or other viewable format
tks
