PDA/PPC to recommend with Garmin GPS 18?

Sat Dec 29, 2007 11:27 pm

Howdy,
I have a GPS 18 that I would like to use with a yet-to-be purchased PDA/Pocket PC. I'm finding that a laptop in the car is too unwieldy. I don't want to leave it in the car where it could get stolen, but I don't want to lug it around with me either. So, I'm thinking about buying a PDA such as the Tungsten E2 or the Palm TX to use as a GPS screen.
I'm wondering if either of these would work (or if anyone already has this set-up) and, if not these units, which units have good visibility during the day where glare is not so much of an issue.
Thanks in advance!

I use an HP iPAQ hw6915 PPC running Windows Mobile 5. It has GPS built in & works great with GpsGate. A newer model is just coming onto the market running WM 6.
