Is data bidirectional with GpsGate Splitter?

Wed Aug 28, 2019 4:58 pm

I have a NMEA 0183 network that I access via USB simulated as a serial port. When I connect to it via TZ Navigator, I can send data back out which I primarily use to put waypoint and route information on my instruments (DTW, XTE, etc). If I use Splitter to provide access for other devices, will my chart plotter software still be able to output data on the network, or does Splitter only provide output and not for allow input for clients? The software can connect in a variety of ways, COM port, TCP, UDP if that makes any difference.

Thanks,
Brad
