I am attempting to use GPSGate v184.108.40.2062 with Windows 7 Pro on a Panasonic Toughbook CF-31.
However, GPSGate wont keep running long enough to get programs working with a GPS signal.
I have an old Qstarz Travel Recorder and a newer Qstarz Travel Recorder XT. Both connect with BT and run direct with OziExplorer. Therefore the GPSr and BlueTooth are working OK.
I also have Memory Map 6.1.3 and when loading it, the GPSr's location is shown immediately.
I also have QuoVadis 220.127.116.11 Poweruser, so will be buying the full version of GPSGate, but only after I can get the two port version running.
When I attempt to get GPSGate running again (all other programs not running), I see an error:-
"Bluetooth is disabled. The MS Bluetooth stack cannot be found (first device)."
Then immediately running MM or OziEx, both display the GPSr's location.
Any suggestions, please?
