client wont boot up on windows 7

Tue Mar 19, 2013 5:45 am

I just downloaded Gpsgate 2.6 Client and it wont boot up. I'm on windows 7 running Norton AV. The installer worked fine and put a shortcut on the desktop and gave no errors. But when I click on it nothing happens.

Any advice?

I have same problem, except I am using AVG AV.
I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling without success. The application shows under Task Managers 'Processes', but does not show on screen????

I have the same problem with VISTA. I purchased a code but I never get far enough along to be able to enter it. Very frustrating and expensive for nothing. I have spent 3 hours going in circles. Can anybody help?

I cant understand why they don't respond to this problem?? I also sent an email detailing problem - without response. At least I didn't purchase and given lack of interest in supporting product, am unlikely to.

Have you tried installing/running it with administrator privileges or disbled UAC?

I have the same problem. The program has a process CPSGateXP.exe in Task Manager. Tried running in XP mode, no UAC, and as administrator, uninstalling and installing and rebooting all without success. Running W7 on 64 bit machine. Unfortunately I bought it before installing.
