Widcomm stack v. 5.5.0.4000

Hi,

The Bluetools software I am using (version 1.2.1.848) works fine with the older stack, but there appear to be problems with the latest stack. Do you have any insight into this problem? Thanks - Ravi.

The bluetools throw an exception: bonding failed. "Remote device not found, or bounding rejected by remote device." I can get the device to respond to commands if I go through Bluetooth neighborhood, bind to a COM port, and look at hyperterm. Therefore, I know the remote device is functioning with the new stack (v. 5.5).

Hi,
I have the same kind of problem with WidComm stack v5.5.0
The service discovery does not found the SerialPort services (ServiceType.SerialPort)
If I search RFComm services (ServiceType.RFCOMM), I can see the serial port one, but it does not work (I only see it)
All work fine with another stack (This problem is not present with older stack of Widcomm - v5.1.0 - or with the microsoft stacks)

Return to “BlueTools”
