File push

I have an application that performs device and service discovery and then sets up a chat between devices that are running my service. I want to exchange avatars e.g. image files between the devices. What is the best method in order to achieve this capability? Should I use the now unsupported Obex library or can I just stream files using my BlueTooth service with stream read/write?

Note: Using BlueTools on Windows Mobile 6 Pro and CF 2.0.

Since you are already having a connection set up (i.e. the chat) it's probably a better idea to make your own protocol where you exchange the avatar...most pocket devices only allow one connection at the time, so it's possible that you would have to disconnect the actual chat to exchange the image files. Not a very user-friendly thing to do.

Thanks for the quick reply. I will pursue that approach. Again, thanks.
