MC70 is not detected by BlueTools

Tue Dec 02, 2008 1:33 pm

I have an MC70 (MOTOROAL MOBILE COMPUTER with WM V5.0) and when I run BlueTools, it can't find the MAC ADRESSE of this device.
But with an CN3 (INTERMEC MOBILE COMPUTER with WM V5.0) or another mobile HP , there is no problem.
Do you think that BlueTool is compatible with the MC70 ?
Or you will have a solution for my problem.

We have not run any compatible test with a MC70. If the exact same code works on another device, the MC70 is most likely not compatible with BlueTools.

Hi Jonas,
I think there must be a solution to connect this device.
The stack of this MC70 is : stack bluetooth Microsoft v5.1.0.478.
Ensure me that will be right.
Please, help me to find the solution.
Best regards.

You haven't described your problem yet.
Are you connecting TO it and it doesn't work? Or are you running a BlueTools application ON it and it doesn't work?

If you can't connect to it, either it's denying your connection attempts or it is returning some response that BlueTools doesn't understand. Either way, you're out of luck.
If you are running an application on the device and it doesn't work, you have to describe your proble in more detail. You can't find the MAC-address, like you don't know how? Or it's blank?

Jonas
