Send using ObexObjectPush

Fri Nov 21, 2008 7:31 am

Hi guys,

I need help in identifying send status. Im using obex error code do determine the status returned after every send. the problem is that, it only works for sony ericsson. When i tried it using nokia, it returns a bluetoolsexcption not obex. Does this depend on the device class? I noticed that smart phones are prompted to download during the call of remote service stream while sony ericsson, device class is phone, is prompted on the objectpush.pushfile.

That is dependent on how the manufacturer has implemented Obex at their end. If you get an ObexException it means that there were a problem during the handshake (in the protocol). If you get a BlueTools exception it means it was a problem in the physical link.

Return to “BlueTools”
