How to connect from saved?

Sat Oct 04, 2008 2:06 pm

If I once have passed discovery (DiscoverDevices) and identified the RemoteDevice as well as the "currentService" (DiscoverSerivces) on the remote device: What would I need to restore from file, if I would like to connect next time without a new Discovery/Service-Selection?

If you know the address and the service channel you can use ConnectService to connect directly to the service on a remote device.

The Address object contains the address to the device and the service channel specifies which service you wish to connect to.

Read in the reference manual about Address or look at the ObexFTPClient sample. It contains a sample on how to connect directly to a service.
