No, you can open a .NET 1.1 project in VS2005.

Addtional question is : I have run the simple service in the pda, but after the client has connected the service , one or two minutes later, the server or client can't send the data again, and there's no any notification about the disconnection(client, server, or lower driver all don't show this), why? Which service I can use in the ServiceType.XXX? I only need to send and receive data between client and server.

Best Regards!

The SMS code is not supported anymore. The source of the component is available but that's it.

It is impossible to know why your data stops transmitting. Try running it the other way around, run the SimpleService on the computer and the client on the Pocket PC and see if it makes any difference. If you are creating a SerialPort service you can also try connecting with a native client (HyperTerminal or something) and see if the same thing occurs.
