Hi, I am running the sample "FindandConnect" VB application on a Motorola MC55 (Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional)

Bluetooth is enabled but when I click "Discover" I get "Bluetooth is Disabled. The bluetooth stack cannot be found (first device)"

I have tested with all DLL's and the "IsHardwareAvailable" = True, BUT the network name = [blank] although doesn't error

Hmm, Motorola MC55 seems to be supporting both MS stack and something called StoneStreet stack.
Are you sure it's using the MS stack?

Using a registry editor, navigate to the following:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\SymbolBluetooth
Edit the following key:
“SSStack”=dword:1
where:
0 = disable StoneStreet One stack and enable Microsoft stack
1 = enable StoneStreet One stack and disable Microsoft stack (default)
After setting the registry key, warm boot the MC55.

Jonas

I also have the same problem with the Symbol MC70 but it doesn't seem to have the same option for disabling the StoneStreet stack.

Do you have any ideas?, they run Windows Mobile 5.

It doesn't seem like the MC70 support anything other than StoneStreet, which means BlueTools can't be used on the device.
