RE: Help with POI Alerts

Another way is to use a Geofence rather than a POI. That way you can define the fence to not include the road passing the station.
We've used this in our application and it works fine.

If you must use a POI, try to locate the POI so that it doesn't include the road.

RE: Tracking App

The author of GPS2Gpsgate also has GpsGate Tracker available on the Google Play store. It seems that this is more suited to commercial applications, and also has a free trial.

RE: Development suggstion

There is one way to do this by creating a dedicated webpage with the username and password embedded into the code, and then using POST to send this info to login.apsx on your server. The expected variable names are "inUsername" and "inPassword" The you can just set a favourite or bookmark to the URL...

RE: Login and password improvements

a feature that has been missing since...well, always, and has been requested by several people is the ability to login directly from a URL. This is useful in a 'kiosk' situation where a dedicated Tracking PC may re-boot after a power failure, automatically start-up the browser and then stops waiting...

RE: Plugin: TrackingSchedule

It may not be possible but it's a good idea. I would be useful in cases where managers can be tracked during the day, but not visible to the operators after hours. However with such a feature, the managers would still be able to get tracks of their vehicles when needed over the full 24 hour period.

New User button

How about disabling or removing the Add User button if the user limit as set in GPSgate admin has been reached? In other words if no more users can be added, then remove the button.

Geofence vehicle counter

Would it be possible to add a variable to event notifications called Vehicle-count (for example), that is the current number of vehicles inside a geofence.

This would mean that we could receive messages such as "Vehicle 5 entered Geofence A. Total number of vehicles in Geofence A is now 3"

RE: GUIDE: Interval Event

I've setup an interval rule on one of my vehicles and it works great, thank you. Since odometer readings and service intervals vary between interval, I guess I'll have to setup an event rule for each vehicle. I have a number of vehicles and it's going to be time consuming to setup each rule individu...
