GpsGate Settings ?

Hi,

Where does the gpsGate saves its settings ?
Can i changed them from outside ?
my client is not 'Computer Oriented'... and i want to define the correct settings for him from my other application. i use 2 virtual ports for the use of my application and a navigation application.

hi,
I'm using the COM1 Port as source, method = NMEA, Baud Rate = 4800.
do you need any other details ?

Hi,

Sorry but the link is talking only about GpsGate and BlueTooth and is not relate to my problem.
The only thing that it suggested and i did was to check and update the ROM version.
It didnt help also. the problem is still living and kicking...

GpsGate 1.10, and setting "Retry on Timeout" did not change the situation...

not a solution, but...

i've got Dell Axim x30 and HP iPAQ 2210, both ppc win 2003 se, both running Destinator 3.0.32, both are using the GpsGate (old and new version).

no problem on my side...

Hi, i've got similar problem in PDA - the 'Restart at soft reset' chkbox is disabled at all time. is there a way for the GpsGate to start automatically after soft reset ? i can't add a shortcut to \Windows\StartUp so the best solution for me will be by settings within the GpsGate, second best soluti...

about my "first" question - ill try to be clearer - no matter my needs, is it possible to create with SerialTools ver. 2.0 two or more VPOrt for the use of other unrelated application working on same PPC at the same time ? the bottom line is - i'm trying to avoide the purchasing of more GpsGate lice...
