RE: Http Expression

Sorry, I did not answer your question... Biztalk acts as a proxy to downstream applications, hence, it would not be a good design to have a proxy to Biztalk. My choices are: - Develop a custom Biztalk pipeline to transform GPSGate data into desired format - Wrap GPSGate parameters with XML tags so t...

RE: Http Expression

Can HTTP expression not support adding a static XML tag as delimiters of the parameters?

RE: Http Expression

I do not require REST, rather i just need to tweak the interface to integrate easier with Biztalk. solution will be easier if i can wrap parameters with XML tags I understand from you that HTTP expressions will allow me to wrap parameters with XML tags, correct? 1800 modems to be deployed. RE: Http Expression

I would like to confirm that this will support adding XML tags to enclose the passed query parameters in the HTTP GET. e.g. <ns0:GPSNotification xmlns:ns0="http://Datasmith.GPS"><data> cmd=_ExternalNotification&SIGNAL_LIGHTS=true... </data></ns0:GPSNotification> We do not have a need for dynamic tex...

RE: GUIDE: Send GPS data using HTTP to your web site

Tony,
It appears that you are treating the HTTP Get as a REST web service correct?

My understanding of REST, is that ideally the HTTP Post verb should be used since intent is to update data as opposed to retrieving data.

Event Notifier Status Code

I am designing an asynchronous messaging solution to forward event notifications.

Since it is asynchronous , the status code is 202 Accepted.'

I understand that GPSGate treats only 200 as a non-error.

Is it possible to update GPSGate to treat both 200 & 202 as non-errors?
