Re: GPS Gate Client over SSL/HTTPS

I am changing a site to SSL since more browsers only accept navigator.geolocation with HTTPS. I note that SSL is not offered but is there any way to get a browser such as Safari or Chrome to accept insecure traffic? Alternatively is there a way to change the current script in gpsgate.js? - http://lo...

garmin edge 200

I have upgraded from an old Edge 205 to a new 200 but I cannot get it to connect to GPSGate. Previously I just used 'Garmin USB' and it worked perfectly. Now the software says that I am not connected. The error is 259 Garmin USB not connected. Has this feature been removed from the Garmin units so t...

iPad Map Scrolling

I have been trying GPSGate and the YourTracks Apple application with a laptop and an iPad. It works fine and I can find my current position here. There is one problem: the iPad map will not scroll properly on iPad Safari as it delivers only a static maps. I get dynamic maps on the iPad from my own j...

When I right click the icon in the bottom tray nothing happens. How can I access my settings or reset it to appear?

RE: GPS in Browser

Working pages using CloudMade or UK Ordnance Survey maps are now at:

www.system.co.uk/sysnav_cm.htm

www.system.co.uk/sysnav_osmap.htm

These are searchable with places etc. and will accept GPS in Browser.

GPSGate not installed or not started

I am getting the above message when I have a valid input signal and an output to the GPSinBrowser where at the bottom it says more information at http://localhost:12175. I have un-installed, rebooted and reinstalled the software. I am getting a feed to other ports to a signal is presumably present. ...

RE: GPS in Browser

Thanks for your help. This will centre the map but is there also a way to get the lat/long position or a moving pointer on the map?

Thanks

RE: GPS in Browser

To be clear what I am trying to do is this:

1.Centre the map
2.Show the position as a marker or a lat/long position

The toolbar is no longer supported and I have gps in browser working but I was to be able to see the position etc on the map.

Thanks

GPS in Browser

I have GPS in Browser as an output and then I open www.openstreetmap.org but I don't see any position mark. The instructions talk about a bookmark but I do not see one. The Franson software says the browser is connected. Can you help me with what I need to do next to see the position on the openstre...
