RE: Google search and infowindow

Hi! Tried it at http://livetracking.info/temp/googlesearch.php and it seems to work. I added this to the <head></head> <style type="text/css"> @import url("http://www.google.com/uds/css/gsearch.css"); @import url("http://www.google.com/uds/solutions/localsearch/gmlocalsearch.css"); } </style> <scrip...

RE: Overlay KML Data On GPSgate Maps

And would you display this KML file on a GPSGate map (that use the webservices for the live position) AND with updates from that kml file? I will try it once (because I need this also in the future :))

RE: Not receiving GPS coordinates on Hosted Server

For the hosted version you need to report your positions through HTTP. TCP/IP isn't supported. In GPSGate 2.5 you can choose for http. There is a little tutorial at http://www.franson.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6064 (last item)

(correct me if i'm wrong, Franson ;))

RE: public google map

Hi, Could you send me an e-mail (wouter@deruyck.eu) with your mailaddress ? Then I could send you the 2 phpfiles I use (http://live.drw.be) Currently the script I use reads everything from the mysql table. The script is currently very basic, but if more people are interested then I will improve it :...

RE: Shared host - Install problem + Mobile

I did a test this afternoon and everything works fine. Only problem is that I now has to run GPSGate to transfer the data from gpsgate.com tot my own installation, so I hope there will be also a mobile version (or maybe someone of the forum could make sutch a program, I could pay, no problem ;))

RE: Shared host - Install problem + Mobile

Hi,

http://d93469.u32.gohsphere.com/BuddyTracker/Home.aspx

Login: tester
pass: test

After login the error apears.

Will there be in the future a mobile client that works with shared hosting and is there an ETA? Or is there a similar J2ME application that will work.

Wouter

Shared host - Install problem + Mobile

Hi, First of all: thanks for the shared host option. I tried to install it, everything goes fine but when I try to access the BuddyTracker application it doesn't work, but when I try to access the BuddyTracker page I get an error. http://wouterdr.u32.gohsphere.com/BuddyTracker/Home.aspx [EDIT]: Ever...

RE: Map on own site - some questions

Hmm, when I convert it get a bigger difference. Value on gpsgate.com: 3,6 (in miles), 5.7 in km/h Value that I receive by tp.speedoverground: 2,56 (9,21 km/h) Code I use to get the information(based on the vb.net receive-example): tp = m_client.GetLastTrackPoint(user.Text) speed = tp.SpeedOverGround

RE: Map on own site - some questions

Little question:

Is the speedoverground the same speed as displayed on gpsgate.com

I suppose this is in mph, but there seems to be a little difference between what I get and the information I see on gpsgate.com

RE: Map on own site - some questions

In the program there is a field: 'username'. I only get the points from the username in that field. Yesterday the whole script worked when I was following you (your account Johan). There was this morning (and there still is) with Internet Explorer and the google maps. I asked the person who hosts th...

RE: Map on own site - some questions

First version is finished. At http://live.drw.be/ you can see my position (currently tracking Johan). At my blog (http://www.drw.be) you see (at the right side) if I'm online or offline. Every 30 seconds a little program (written in Visual Studio.net) checks the gpsgate.com server. If there is a new...
