RE: Failed to connect remote Bluetooth service

Just some further information:
We do not use bonding, as no passkey is required.
I know this is not a device problem, as we have our own interface to Toshiba stack and if I swap hardware and use Tosh stack it works fine. Or if it is a Broadcom dongle and we install Widcomm stack then also its fine.

Failed to connect remote Bluetooth service

Hi, I use your library to interface with our Bluetooth activity monitor. Our customers generally use Microsoft Stack. Occasionally, on some PCs I get error 10050, when connecting to the device. I can discover ok, and do service discovery ok but when connecting to the Serial Port service this error i...

RE: finding bd address with discovery

Once you have done the discovery, you can iterate through the discovered devices and retrieve the required properties, one of which is the friendly name, another is the address.

Have a look at the Find & Connect sample

RE: If reconnect fails device cannot be rediscovered

Hi Johan,

Are you saying that if I run a DiscoverDevicesAsync, and a paired device is not on, I should get the DeviceLost event raised?

What I get is the DeviceDiscovered event.

So I thought I would try to Unbond the device, then rediscover, but nothing is discovered.

How to programatically pair with a device

I want to use Serial port profile but don't want the user to have to be prompted to enter a pin when I connect to the service. Is there a way through the library to pass that down to the Widcomm stack programatically? I have just answered this myself (read the manual!) By doing device.Bond("pincode"...
